Finding a Family Physician
Finding a family physician where you are training can be important for general wellbeing and family planning, especially if you are struggling with trying to conceive or are pregnant.
Check with your program
-
Discuss with your program, school, and/or wellness office to find out what resources may be specifically available to you
-
For medical students, schools have ways to connect you with family physicians that will not be involved in assessing you
-
If you are in any local MD facebook groups - make a post to see if someone is accepting new patients
Walk-In Clinics
You may also find it helpful to obtain a referral to a local obstetrical/gynaecological provider from an online clinic service if you do not have a family physician. Some clinics may also be providing virtual services.
